More About
Robby is a RYT-500 as well as a Culinary Institute of America graduate chef and caterer, making many of the delicious dishes at Stone Wave Yoga’s Community Events and/or Workshops! He belives that there is a place in the heart where one can find inner joy, serenity, calmness, and purpose, but knows that for some that can be a hard place to find, as for many years it was a place that was nearly impossible for him to see at all. The area that surrounded his deepest sense of self had been tucked away for so long, he had no idea how to find it, until he started his wellness journey and yoga practice. It wasn't always so easy for Robby to look inward and put things together from the inside out. However, pushing up through challenges, using his yoga practice as a guide, has been one of the best experiences of his life!
Robby’s love for yoga is truly about being given the tools to anchor through adversity, embrace joy, and feel laughter. To him, yoga is also about finding inner peace with divine grace and perhaps even a smile. The joy of allowing others the space to breathe and take-in their own yoga practice, has allowed Robby to approach life with a more sense of calm; always teaching him to be more peaceful, patient, loving and resilient. He finds that there is naturally more room for clarity, as well as, depth of mind, body, and soul and feels that the love for yoga is a precious gift that everyone can share and be a part of in their own way. Robby is truly looking forward to the road ahead, with any and all who would like to share with him in it.
About how Robby incorporates Yoga into his daily and professional life, “My main career is being a yoga instructor, however I am also a private caterer. While I have spent most of my life cooking professionally, I have found that since I have become a yoga teacher, my cooking and art of food has a much different intention than it had in the past. With a deeper sense of calm and clarity, as well as depth and joy.”
