What will be covered?
MEDITATION: This will be a deep-dive into Yogic cultivation and guide work on the path. We will explore the teachings of Raja Yoga as the central map and incorporate broader Yogic, Vedantic, and Ayurvedic teachings and practices to support the journey.
METHODOLOGY: Dr. Michael (Lead instructor) is a trained educator and will share techniques and practices that help teachers teach and learners learn.
PRACTICUM: All participants will have opportunities to lead meditation in group setting and receive feedback form the class, as well as organize independent meditation teaching and submit a reflective journal.
PERSONALIZED CONTENT: In our first immersion, we will bring the group together for alignment and discovery. At this time, we will discuss what is important to each participant and Dr. Michael will customize the program to deliver the outcomes as determined by the group (cooperative curriculum development).
GOALS: You will graduate with a sense of clarity about how to share the practice of meditation with your community and students.
